ACTS Suggested verses for prayer are:

Adoration
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth! (Psalm 57:5)
Confession
I prayed to the Lord my God and made confession, saying, “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, we have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. (Daniel 9:4-5)
Thanksgiving
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. (Colossians 4:2)
Supplication
Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. (Matthew 6:9-13)

Bezeugen Tract Club – January 2022

Happy New Year! Did you make any New Year Resolutions? Do you know anyone who has made them? This is a popular question this time of year. The new year brings new beginnings. Many people reflect on the past and look forward to the future. They consider past regrets and hopes for a brighter tomorrow ahead. This can be a challenge and a blessing wrapped into a single season.

Take heart. God is good. He forgives. If you have sinned, confess, repent and know you have been forgiven. Look up, look forward, go and share Jesus with others! Here are a couple suggested goals for 2022. I call them goals rather than resolutions because we can strive for these goals daily, not just at the beginning of the year.

First, set a goal to read God’s word. Even one verse is a good start. But try for at least one chapter. Perhaps you can set your sights higher and set a goal to read through the Bible in a year. Perhaps this is a good opportunity to start a habit of reading through the Proverbs. Billy Graham had a practice of reading through the Proverbs and Psalms on a monthly basis. Just read the Proverb for the day of the month and 1-5 Psalms a day and you can do it. Acts 4:13 says “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.“ Being in God’s word is how you stay connected to Jesus. Then once you have been with Jesus through the Word, go tell others about him!

There are a number of plans to read through the Bible in a year. But if you’d like some ideas check the BLOG post linked at the end of this letter.

Second, set a goal to share the Gospel every day. By being a member of the Bezeugen Tract Club you are already equipped with 30 Gospel tracts per month. Simply share one each day and you are on your way! If you’d like some interaction with others (via social media) who have made the commitment, look up the Everyday Club on Facebook and MeWe at www.bezeugen.org/everyday/.

Third, make a goal to invite at least one person to join the Bezeugen Tract Club every month. Do you love getting tracts in the mail? Then why not tell someone else so that they can be encouraged to go share the Gospel too! We often hear people say “I don’t have the gift of Evangelism”. Well that’s okay. The gift of evangelism is given to those to train others (Ephesians 4:11-12) to share the Gospel. The command to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:18) is for all Christians. The enclosed bookmark is both a Gospel tract and an invitation to join the tract club. Hand it to a Christian friend and encourage them and remind them to go to http://enroll.tract.club/ to enroll in the Bezeugen Tract Club. Once they enroll they can share the tract with another believer to enroll, or an unbeliever to share the Gospel with them.

Are you feeling fearful when it comes to sharing the Gospel? Bezeugen Ministries provides a free two hour “Basic Evangelism Training Seminar”. If you’d like live or in person training feel free to call us and we can see about visiting you, or doing something live online. In the meantime, we have a recording of our seminar that you can watch on your own or with a group of friends. The recording can be found on Rumble or YouTube.

Fourth, pray! Matthew 9:38 says to pray to the Lord to send out workers into the field. Those workers are Christians. You and I! Let’s commit to pray every day for the lost and for their repentance. Since May 2010 we have also been hosting monthly “First Thursday Prayer” meetings for our Nation, Leaders, and Revival. Will you join us? Send an email to be added to a distribution list to receive notification of A.C.T.S. (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication) verses for prayer. You can host a prayer meeting at your own city hall, place of business, or church. More information is available online.

This months tracts include the “21 day challenge”. It is a challenge to read the Gospel of John a chapter a day for 21 days. Perhaps you’d like to take the challenge yourself. Or when you hand the tract to someone you’d could challenge them and then meet them for coffee once a week and discuss what has been read. We especially like to point people to the Gospel of John since as verse 20:31 indicates it is written so they may believe in Jesus. I like to read the Gospel of John every month so it is always fresh on my mind as I meet others. On the tract they can find the website where it has the reading plan. Or simply send an email to 21@AfterLifeCatalog.com with “subscribe” on the subject line and you’ll get daily reminders! The website has links to read, listen to, and even watch a movie of the Gospel of John.

Other tracts included this month are Thank You, Got Peace and YOLO. The Thank You tract can be handed to someone as a simple Thank You. Or perhaps you received a Christmas gift and you could include the tract in a thank you note. Got Peace has a winter theme and the message of how to have peace with God. YOLO is a reminder that you only live once. It’s Biblical, because Hebrews 9:27 says it is appointed once to die, and then the judgment!

We at Bezeugen Ministries are excited about 2022. We already have three new tracts designed that will appear in the February, March and April mailings. Additional new tracts are being designed. As it appears the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us, we hope to be able to resume outreach events, door to door evangelism, training opportunities, and the like. Check the BLOG, social media, and future letters for more details.

A few house keeping things to remember.

Please keep your address up to date. If you move you can update your mailing address by renewing your membership online.

If you are getting behind handing out tracts you can change your membership to bi-monthly or quarterly with the form online.

If you no longer want to receive tracts, you may unsubscribe by sending email.

Bezeugen Blast – Volume 15, Number 2

Amazing how 2021 seems to have flown by. In October a group of us from Bezeugen were sharing the Gospel at the State Fair of Texas. In one day we handed out over 5,000 Gospel tracts and had many wonderful Gospel conversations. Several people who came to the booth professed their faith in Jesus!

As we look towards 2022, we are excited to let you know that we already have three new tracts planned for our February, March, and April mailings. Additional new tracts are in the works. As life returns to normal we are hoping to make plans for other outreaches in 2022!

You probably have the December 2021 mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club by now. In case you missed it in the letter, we have extra Christmas tracts available. You can learn more on Rumble or YouTube.  To request Christmas tracts please go to donate.bezeugen.org  and make your request.

Since May 2010 a number of us have been praying monthly for our nation. This is in line with the National Day of Prayer that happens only once per year. We started praying monthly at city halls, churches, and businesses on the First Thursday of each month in June 2010. Each month we post a list of suggested A.C.T.S. (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication) model of prayer verses. Each group can choose to use those verses or not. Please consider joining one of our existing groups, or start a group in your area. If you’d like to be included on a specific monthly email about this please let me know. And if you choose to start your own group please let us know that too so we can share that your group exists. Details for December 2nd prayer events can be found online on the BLOG.

We are grateful for all of our members. If you enjoy the tract club, please tell a friend and encourage them to enroll online to receive their own supply of 30 FREE Gospel tracts per month. If you’d like to share with your friend how the tract club is blessing others, you can share this post with a sample of some encouraging words we have received recently.

The recording can be found on Rumble  or YouTube .

The Bezeugen Ministries is a 501c3 non-profit. All donations are greatly appreciated and are used to share the Gospel and provide the tracts for the Bezeugen Tract Club. Bezeugen Tract Club – December 2021

I recall talking to an atheist once and he said “if Jesus came to my house and walked across my swimming pool, then I’ll believe”. He was looking for a sign. The Lord offered to let Ahaz name a sign. But he would not put the Lord to the test. Notice then in Isaiah 7:14 that God in His grace provides the sign. Christ at Christmas! Jesus’ birth was prophesized. It was a clear sign that splits time from BC to AD. But more than that Jesus provides the only way man can be saved from his sin! This Christmas, go tell everyone you know, and everyone you meet, that Jesus is the reason for the season!

Christmas is probably the easiest time of the year to share the Gospel because most people celebrate Christmas regardless of whether they are Christian or not. Therefore it is a great opportunity to explain to them the true meaning of Christmas. One easy way to share the Gospel this time of year is simply to smile, say “Merry Christmas”, and then hand them a Gospel tract. Most people will just take the tract from you and say thanks! Try it. You might be surprised how easy it is to strike up a conversation with someone this way.

You might check the events calendar in your town to see if there are any special events coming up. Perhaps there is a parade where you could hand out tracts and candy canes. Perhaps a group from your church will go door to door to sing Christmas Carols and you could hand a tract to someone at each house. Or maybe you’ll just be going to the mall to shop and need some extra tracts to hand out.

Instead of just wishing people “Merry Christmas” on Facebook, why not send them a Christmas card in the mail. The ones we receive are really meaningful. When you send the Christmas card you can also include a Gospel tract! It’s a simple way to witness to your friends and family. We have more Christmas tracts on hand. If you can use more, please submit a request online.

For a $5 donation to Bezeugen Ministries we will send you 100 tracts. Use the enclosed donation envelope to make your request. To avoid delays with the postal system, you might prefer to make your request online at http://donate.bezeugen.org. Larger quantities are available as well. Please consult the website for details.

This months suggested ACTS (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication) verses for prayer are:

and he has become my salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt him. (Exodus 15:2)
Confession

I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah (Psalm 32:5)
Thanksgiving
Open to me the gates of rightousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the LORD. (Psalm 5:9)
Supplication
On God rests my salvation and my glory;

There are a number of important prayer needs with elections happening across the country on Tuesday, November 2nd. Notably is the Governor race in Virginia. Here in Texas we have 8 Constitutional Amendments to vote on. You may like to use the National Day of Prayer Prayer Guide.

Bezeugen Tract Club – November 2021

“For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. ” Matthew 5:20

In our two-hour Basic Evangelism Training Seminar we talk about religions. In particular we talk about how many religions there are in the world. If you search on the Internet for “how many religions are there in the world” or other similar searches you’ll find webpages claiming upwards of 4,200 different religions. We talk about how difficult it would to share the Gospel if you first needed to  dispute every point of any one of these religions.

In a sermon I was listening to recently, the preacher suggested all the world’s religion boils down to two: Human Achievement, and Devine Accomplishment. In Matthew 5:20 Jesus teaches his disciples that unless their righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees they will not enter the kingdom of heaven. These are people who were doing everything by the book. Following every letter of the Law. If they could not get in based on their works (Human Achievement), how could anyone possibly get to Heaven. That’s where Devine Accomplishment comes in.

Jesus completely fulfilled the Law by His life, death, and resurrection. He calls us to “repent and believe the Gospel” (Mark 1:15) and when we do his righteousness is credited to us. Isn’t it amazing, God’s Devine Accomplishment is credited to us! God then gives us the command to go and share this message with others.

The artwork on the John 14:6 tract was produced by our good friend Keith Neds. Keith, his family, and many from his church have been helping pack tract club envelopes for the Bezeugen Tract Club for years. Perhaps you’d like some calligraphy for your home, or as a gift for someone special this Christmas. You can order from him at www.calligraphyforchrist.com.

Hard to believe 2021 is almost over. Soon Christmas cards will be going into the mail. A simple way to witness to your family and friends is to include a Gospel tract with your Christmas Card. We have plenty of extra Christmas tracts on hand. For a $5 donation to Bezeugen Ministries we will send you 100 tracts. Use the enclosed donation envelope to make your request or you can donate and make your request online. Larger quantities are available as well. Please consult the website for details. In the article linked at the bottom of this letter on the BLOG we will include details of which Christmas tracts we have on hand.

Christmas is also an easy time to share the Gospel because most people celebrate Christmas regardless of whether they are Christian or not. Therefore it is a great opportunity to explain to them the true meaning of Christmas. The December mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club will provide 30 Christmas tracts. If you need more, please submit a request.

Bezeugen Tract Club – October 2021

In October 2008 we mailed our first Bezeugen Tract Club mailing. Craig and Carl had been sharing the Gospel weekly at a local shopping mall and in the process had asked various friends to pray for us each time we went out. That list of people had grown to about 100 souls. We eventually decided to go share the Gospel at some events locally. One such event was a Dallas Cowboys game (back at the old stadium in Irving). I can remember it like it was yesterday.

At this particular game we arrived when the game was ending and were handing out tracts to people as they left the stadium. Most took a tract and continued walking. But some stopped to talk for a one on one conversation. As we have done thousands of times now, if someone would identify as a believer in Jesus we would ask a couple probing questions to see why they would go to heaven. If their answers were not around being “born again” or “trusting Christ alone” for salvation then we would go to the Gospel. Otherwise, we could talk about discipleship.

Often those discipleship questions would turn to asking the person if they had ever shared their faith. Many of those who said no, would follow up with “I don’t know how”. One woman that day said “I wouldn’t know where to get tracts like these”.  I told her that if she gave me her email address I’d send her some links to websites of where she could order. She agreed and I followed up when I got home.

The next day I was driving in my car thinking about this. I realized that a pack of tracts would run $5-7. Someone might want a few varieties. So that’s $20-30. And then there is shipping. So someone might spend over $25 to get some tracts and then when 500 or so tracts arrived might be so overwhelmed that instead of getting started, they might feel defeated and do nothing.

Then I was struck with an idea as if the Lord was speaking to me. No, I didn’t hear an audible voice or anything. But it was as if He was saying “why don’t you send her the tracts”. What if we sent out 30 gospel tracts per month and encouraged people to share one every day. By receiving 30 at a time it would not be so overwhelming to someone. An accompanying letter suggesting ways to share the tracts could help too!

Our first mailing went out in October 2008 to those 100 or so people on our prayer list. We explained it was a one time mailing, unless we heard from them wanting to receive them monthly. Some responded affirmatively. Some didn’t respond till a few months later. Others didn’t reply. As we enter our 14th year of sending out tracts we hope you are encouraged to share the Gospel every day.

This is the 157th mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club. Each month tracts are sent to every US State and most Canadian Provinces. Over the last 13 years more that 4.6 million tracts have been sent to Bezeugen Tract Club members to distribute. We hope and pray you are encouraged to share the Gospel everyday, “As You Go”.
