On April 2, we took a group of 29 out to the Texas Rangers game in Arlington,
TX. Most of us met up in Carrollton and then car pooled out to the stadium. We had a group of (about) 20 from the Gospel for Asia School of Discipleship. We split this group into four and positioned them on each of the four corners of the ballpark. The rest of us set up on one of the busy corners and also roamed the area. We had at least one person spend the full two hours in the parking lot having one on one conversations. Kevin wrote:
The baseball trivia tracts were a great icebreaker to start conversations with people that were hanging out before the Rangers game. It made it an easy transition to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ showing we all will die one day and without the redemption of Christ, we are all headed for an eternity away from God.
During the course of the evening, Michael, Raleigh and Meagan each took their first shot at open air preaching. What a blessing to have some young people take a bold stand for Christ.
In the course of the evening, over 11,000 Gospel Tracts were distributed!
