Bezeugen Tract Club – April 2024

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

Seems like everything is “trans” these days. In the eyes of the world people can transition from one thing to another including their gender. The challenge with these subjects in the context of sharing the Gospel is that it is easy to get off topic discussing the merits and science of the issue instead of talking about the Gospel. God created male and female. Period. End of story. But to try to engage in that conversation may distract from the true message that every person is a sinner because they have lied, stolen, hated or looked with lust. Hence they are in need of a transformed heart. With that we present our newest Gospel tract. May God be glorified as you share it!

We have also included the popular baseball trivia tract. People love to test their knowledge to show how much they know. But do they know how to get to Heaven? Do they know what happens when they die? These tracts are fun to hand out one on one or at a ballgame. If you’d like to organize an outreach you can find information on our YouTube channel and you can request additional tracts to hand out by donation.

Every month we include two bookmarks. Last month’s letter which you can read online if you missed it described how to use the bookmark to start a conversation with someone and then went into the first of the ten questions.

In the first question “What happens when you die” we had the chance to talk with them about judgement for sin. So now we move on to the next question “who has sinned”. Have them read Romans 3:23 which says “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. So ask again, “Who has sinned?” They should quickly answer “all” or “everyone” which includes them.

The problem that comes up in daily conversation with people who are not familiar with the Bible is that there are terms and words used that people don’t use every day and may not understand. So this leads us to the next question “What is sin?”

Have them turn in their Bible, or on their phone Bible app to 1 John 3:4 and read it. “Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.“ Ask again, “What is sin?” They should easily see from this verse that sin is lawlessness.

At this point it is much easier to talk about sin. Everyone knows what laws are. Our legislatures are making more of them every day! I’ll use an example such as speeding. The speed limit is posted, breaking the speed limit is breaking the law.

Next month we will dive into the Ten Commandments, the Law that every person has broken.

Until then you can read ahead with the verses listed in the table on this page or on the bookmark. Follow the link on the bookmark to view more detailed answers to each question. I encourage you to look up these ten verse and memorize them This will become a guide for sharing the gospel, even if you don’t have a bookmark handy.
