And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment. Hebrews 9:27
March is packed with events so we have included tracts for a number of them. March 5th is Super Tuesday primaries. It’s a good reminder that No Matter Who is President, Jesus is King! March 16th is 3:16 day. So we have included the John 3:16 tract. See how many people you can share John 3:16 with that day. Share how you do by tagging us on social media. March 17th is St Patrick’s Day. Lot’s of people like to celebrate the “Luck of the Irish” so we are including a tract that allows them to test if they are lucky enough to go to Heaven. Finally, last, but certainly not least is Easter on March 31st. The last day of the month is the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. These Hoppy Easter tracts are a fun way to engage people at community events or malls where the Easter Bunny is out to take pictures. Why not get a picture of our tract with your local Easter Bunny and then share it on social media?
Every month we include two bookmarks. These bookmarks have ten questions and ten Bible verses. The intention is that you’ll engage someone in a conversation to share the Gospel with them. The transition to the bookmark is once you’ve got someone thinking about what happens when they die to ask them “have you ever considered what the Bible says?” You see it’s easy to argue with someone’s opinion. So they could barrage you with questions and you may or may not have the answers. But God’s word has the answers to what happens when you die. Then if they disagree or want to argue, their argument is with God and His Word, not you.
Our website which is listed on the bottom of the bookmark provides explanation of each verse and question. But the idea is simply to ask the person to answer each question based on reading of the verse. It is helpful to have a Bible with you. But you can also look up the verses on your phone. Even better is to have the person look up the Bible verses themselves. If you have a print Bible handy show them how to use the index to find the book. I explain that the Bible is actually a library of 66 books. The table of contents shows what page each book is on. Once you turn to that book the large numbers are chapters and the small numbers are verses. With that you can show them how to find Hebrews 9:27 by first finding Hebrews in the table of contents, going to chapter nine and then verse twenty-seven.
Ask them to read the verse. They will read “and just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes the judgement.” Now ask them the question, “so based on this verse, what happens when you die?” They should respond with something like “there is judgement. You can also notice some interesting things here. It is appointed once for man to die. Hence there is no reincarnation.
Now move on to the next question in the same way having them lookup the verse, reading it, and answering each question. As you repeat this with others you’ll find you come to remember the questions and memorize the verses. This prepares you for sharing the Gospel even when you don’t have a bookmark on hand! Make it a goal to memorize each verse and question so you can do this!
