This months suggested ACTS (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication) verses for prayer are:
Adoration |
The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. (Exodus 15:2) |
Confession |
I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah (Psalm 32:5) |
Thanksgiving |
Open to me the gates of rightousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the LORD. (Psalm 5:9) |
Supplication |
On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah (Psalm 62:7-8) |
There are a number of important prayer needs with elections happening across the country on Tuesday, November 2nd. Notably is the Governor race in Virginia. Here in Texas we have 8 Constitutional Amendments to vote on. You may like to use the National Day of Prayer Prayer Guide.
