Thursday, August 2nd, is the first Thursday of the month. We will meet to pray for our nation, leaders and revival. Praise the Lord, we currently have THREE locations:
- Carrollton City Hall
- HOBI International, Dallas
- Rockwall
In Carrollton, meet by the flag poles in front of City Hall at noon. Prayer is from noon to 12:30. In case of rain we will move under the stairs by the entrance to the city hall.
In Dallas we meet at HOBI International (7601 Ambassador Dr, Dallas). Security access to the building is required. If you plan to attend that meeting, please contact Craig Boswell in advance. Prayer is from noon to 12:30. If you are coming, please arrive early to clear security.
In Rockwall prayer is on the second Sunday of each month at Rockwall Bible Church (http://www.rockwallbible.org) from 7-8PM. This month it is August 12th.
The suggested ACTS (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication) are:.
Adoration
Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength!
We will sing and praise your power. (Psalm 21:13}
Confession
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:8-10}
Thanksgiving
For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. (Romans 1:21}
Supplication
I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my pleas for mercy.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. (Psalm 116:1-2}
