Potential to reach more than 6.5 Million with the Gospel!

Each fall, football season kicks off across America. This is a great opportunity to reach people with the Gospel. At previous outreaches we have distributed as many as 10,000 tracts at a regular college football game and preached the Gospel to over 25,000 people at a single stadium in one afternoon. Now imagine how long it would take a local church to share the Gospel with that many people due to visitors coming in the door on Sunday morning! The impact of football outreaches can be huge!

Now if one outreach could reach that many people, imagine if there were 10, 50 or 100 such outreaches across the country. What if there were an outreach on every college campus and at every NFL stadium. Imagine the number of people that couple be reached with the Gospel. The are 120 members of the college Division 1 FBS and 32 NFL teams. That alone is 152 potential locations for outreaches. Considering smaller schools as well, there could be well over 200 locations. In 2009 the average attendance of an FBS home football game was 45,545 people. NFL teams average 46,000 to 87,000 people per game. The average per game is 68,000 people.

So, let’s say in September 2011 we had a group evangelize at each of the NFL stadiums (68,000 x 32 = 2,176,000) as well as 100 college football games (45,545 x 100 = 4,554,500). That could have the possibility to impact 6,730,500 people with the Gospel!
