Be Encouraged!
We don’t share our faith because we have to. We share our faith because we get to. It’s a privilege to share the gospel with others. As a matter fact, it’s our responsibility. I get joy spreading the Gospel and yes, sometimes we are rejected. God did not say that we would not face rejection or persecution. Jesus said ““Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”Matthew 5:10 Don’t be surprised when persecution happens. Rejoice, even though our hearts break because of that lost soul. 1 John 4:17 says “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”
In the world’s eyes, we are foolish. God has given us this great commission to reach out to them, but he has given us the graced for when they don’t want what we have. So many need the Lord. Let’s keep on reaching out till He calls us home. Be encouraged! He hears our prayers and will give us souls for His kingdom!
