The Alley

I was out mowing my lawn and walked around to the back of my house. In the alley were about a dozen city employees, mostly Spanish speaking, sitting in the shade eating lunch. I grabbed a handful of Spanish million dollar bill tracts that I had in a box in the garage and handed one to each of them.

They were really excited to receive them. Although we could not talk to each other, they can read the Gospel.

One of the guys pulled out his wallet and in this wallet was an English Million Dollar Bill tract that he had been carrying. It was a bit tattered so he must have been carrying it for some time.

Free Indeed!

The Celebrate Freedom tract has been great to use this week because of the 4th of July. I’ve handed out several, saying “Here is your 4th of July Gospel tract!”
I gave out three at a mall bus stop yesterday. One man asked how he could get tracts. I challenged Isaiah to read Romans 10 as he took one inside the mall. A lot of people have Bibles, but they aren’t applying God’s Word to their hearts and lives. A woman working the drive thru at McDonald’s thanked me for giving her one! We are free to share the Gospel with those who aren’t! They are slaves to the world, the flesh, and the devil! We are free in God through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Ghost. John 8:36 says “If the Son
therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
Lets celebrate freedom by helping others get free!

Not in the mailbox

Recently it was brought to our attention that some of our tract club members are distributing Gospel tracts in mailboxes. While we can appreciate the zeal to reach the lost, please be aware that it is against the law to put anything but mail into a mail box.

If you desire to go throughout your neighborhood and share the Gospel, then please go to each door. Preferably you can knock on the door, talk to the person and share the Gospel with them.  You may like to just leave the tract or get some door hangers to leave on the door. There may be solicitation and distribution of literature laws in your city about this. In some cities (like where I live, distribution of religious materials does not require a permit). But your city ordinances may very. So you might like to check with city hall.

So, if you are going to go door to door in your neighborhood, please take the tracts to the door and not leave them in or on the mail box. You can read more about our door to door evangelism methods on the Bezeugen web site..

Thank you for your cooperation.

Tips On Using The Million Dollar Bill Tract

I received my order of million dollar bill tracts yesterday from onemilliontracts.com These are great to use in witnessing! I gave out 9 at the grocery store tonight. When I hand these out, Ill say “Have you got one of these yet?” or “Here’s your first million!” At a convenience store, I gave one to a man that worked at Freds and said “Tell Freds to give you a raise!”
When they are in my front pocket, I catch people looking at them. This opens up the door to tell them what it is. When checking out at stores, I ask if they have change. Then, I explain the message and ask the employee to read
It when they get a break. There are so many ways to use the million dollar bill.

My friend, Bro. J.T., called me before church Sunday night to tell me what had happened at a restaurant that evening. He had a trillion dollar bill from Living Waters in his shirt pocket. He was talking to his attorney friend when he told him that his money was sticking out. He told him that it was a tract and gave it to him. Later, his friend came back to him after he paid for his order. He told Bro. J.T. that he had the tract with his money. The woman that was taking his money asked him what it was. He told her what it was and she said that she had a dream about that tract a week ago! The attorney gave it to her!
Try using these tracts if you haven’t yet. Along with the tracts you receive every month from the tract club, they are great ice breakers and conversation starters!

A Van Full Of People

Sometimes we are at a convenience store at the same time a van full of chicken processing plant workers has stopped. I try to give them tracts if possible. This Thursday after church, I gave this van full the Are You A Good Person tract and the Mancard ( to one in the store ). I ask one to give a tract to the ones I cant reach that are in the van! Usually, its about 7-8 men and women. You have got to make the best of every chance you get to share the Gospel!

Tract Holder

I have made several tract holders to place in two laundry mats that I work for. I wanted to make one that was associated with the Are You A Good Person? tract. I put this one in the laundry mat in Sterlington, La. Do you have an idea for a tract holder? Some businesses will allow them if you ask for permission.

Comment box

I came across this comment box for suggestions on the way out of a store. So I put a tract in it. Someone will read the tract when the comment box is opened.

Bulletin board

Public and community bulletin boards are good places to leave tracts. They normally even provide a push pin – or in this case, the magnet to put it up with.
