As You Go, one on one
Friday night at Walmart, I gave out several tracts as we went through the store. I spotted a young man walking with his attention on his iPhone. I slipped him “Name 10 Things On Your Bucket List” as he walked by. A few minutes later, he came back to ask “What is a bucket list?”. He had never heard the phrase “kick the bucket”. His name is Chris and is 18 years old. I explained that it was used to talk about when someone dies. He said that he wasn’t saved. I took him through 4 of the 10 commandments. He said that he would be guilty and would go to hell. We talked for several more minutes. I encouraged him to repent and put his trust in Jesus. There are a lot more young people out there like Chris. We need to be prepared to witness at all times.Take tracts with you “As You Go”!

As You Go, one on one, tract distribution
The phrase “kick the bucket” means to die. 150,000 people “kick the bucket” everyday. This tract, “Name 10 Things On Your Bucket List”, was in June’s tract club mailing. It talks about things people may want to do before they die. The #1 thing they need to do is to repent and put their trust in Christ! When I hand this one out, I say “This talks about things that you may want to do before you kick the bucket.” I gave one to Chris last night at the Chevron. After taking him through the law, he said that he would probably go to hell. I pray that Chris has prayed already! Let’s get the Gospel to the lost before they “kick the bucket”!

Even if you don’t speak Spanish, using tracts is a great way to witness to Spanish-speaking people. These are three tracts that are available in Spanish. You only have one shot to witness to some, so you can make the best of it by handing them a tract. I gave the “Estas Listo?” tract to each in a group of Spanish men at the Walmart checkout one evening this week. I usually ask names of people so I can remember to pray for them. I got their names as I began to tell them about the tract. The tracts can be ordered by going to onemilliontracts.com and click on the Bezeugen Gospel Tracts selection. Lets go after the lost!

As You Go, Million Dollar Bill, one on one, strategy, Ten Commandments, Texting Tract, Three Minutes to Live, tract, tract distribution
My family and I went to the mall tonight after work. The first stop was Burlington Coat Factory, where I gave Nathan a Man Card tract. He asked for another to give to his brother. It’s easy to hand out the new texting tract since just about everyone does text messaging. I gave out around 12 of these tonight. A few recipients were on there phones! (Check out the picture from the Best Buy mobile store!) I kept some million dollar bill tracts (from onemilliontracts.com) in my front shirt pocket. I believe the whole crew from Raising Cane’s took one when the cashier asked about them. When Chris took one, he talked about wanting to be with his deceased grand-parents in Heaven. I gave a Trivia Del Futbol tract to Santos, who said that he wasn’t a Christian. I left several tracts on the benches, counters, and at the blood pressure machine. I love going to the mall!

This year presents more opportunities for soul-winning. Check out Steve Sanchez’ post about the everyday club on his blog, Stone The Preacher
http://stonethepreacher.com/2013/01/01/the-everyday-club-2013.html
I found out about the Bezeugen Tract Club through Steve’s blog.
I have two goals for everyday except Sunday. My goal for tracts per day is 20. I want to try to have at least two conversations a day. I have met these goals for Jan. 1 – 5. On Saturday, I gave out 37 tracts and had 3 conversations. 2 were with employees at Home Depot. I talked with Lawrence at Walmart on Friday night. He said that God must have sent me his way. There are so many open doors in evangelism. Let’s find someone to witness to today!

As You Go, one on one, tract distribution, Uncategorized A New Year Testimony
Sharing your testimony is a great way to witness “as you go”. Every Christian can tell about how they have been gloriously saved by the precious blood of Jesus! I have been sharing my testimony this weekend as while giving out tracts. Twenty years ago, I was involved in the party scene. I thought I was living the good life. I had moved to Shreveport to manage the GNC at Southpark Mall. I had just bought a 1992 Dodge Sport. I was twenty-three at this time. Before this, I managed the GNC at Pecanland Mall in Monroe. In November, my boss asked me if I could transfer to the Shreveport store. I eagerly told him that I could. I was wanting to go up in the company.
I had met a young woman at one of the clubs that I hung out with my friend, Al. We started dating before I moved. She lived in Ruston. I stopped in see her one day when I was going back to West Monroe to visit. She broke up with me that day. The day before New Year’s Eve, she called me to ask us to hold a place for her at the club where we would be at in Monroe. I was going to show her that I could be with someone else! We all got to the bar that night with partying on our minds. I started drinking mixed drinks. Sometime after midnight, I blacked-out. I remember just bits and pieces of what was to happen after that. I remember walking out to my truck. After that, I remember shutting the passenger door to the truck. Then, I was walking on the other side of the bridge down Trenton Street in West Monroe. Then, I was at the door of Al’s apartment. I woke up at 10:00 on New Year’s Day. I told Al that we needed to find my truck. I didn’t know where it was! We drove around looking for it in West Monroe and Monroe. I finally called The Monroe Police Department to ask if they had towed the truck. The woman on the line told me that it had been towed to Master’s Auto Service in Monroe. I went to see it there. The hood and front was crushed in the middle. The owner of the towing company told me that I was fortunate to be alive. I had hit a utility pole on the corner of Pine and Walnut, which was several blocks from the club.
The police had pulled some of my hair from the windshield where I had hit with my head. I had walked about two miles from where I had wrecked. The officer that worked the accident called me at midnight on January 1st to ask me about what had happened. I lied about what I did, but they knew that I had been drinking. I had to go back to Shreveport without transportation. Over the next several months I depended on my parents to come to bring me back home on most weekends. I walked to work sometimes and got a taxi at other times. One day at work, I was talking with a regular customer about some of our products. She and her husband worked for the Shreveport Police Department. We ended up talking about church and Jesus. She asked where I went to church. I told her that I was trying to go back to church. She said “You’re not doing anything! You better come back to Jesus now!”
There had been others who had witnessed to me before, but her words made me to think. I didn’t write the exact date down, but around March the 15th I repented of my sins, asked for forgiveness, and was saved at my apartment in Kingston Village Apartments on Kingston Road! Jesus came into my life! What a change! I got born-again! I told everyone what had happened to me! I couldn’t go back to the clubs anymore! I couldn’t listen to the same music anymore! I didn’t have the desire to drink anymore! I was a changed man! I was able to move back home and get my old job back in April. I started passing out tracts. I went to church whenever I could. I told my testimony everywhere I went. I am still telling it today. I am thankful for every opportunity to share my faith. Let’s tell our testimony to those that need to hear it!

As You Go, Get Out of Hell Free, one on one, strategy, tract
I was able to give out several Man Card tracts tonight to Jimmy, Nick, and Wendell. Steve took a World Record Fishing tract. He said that his mother prays for him. I told him that one of her prayers caught up with him. I placed out the ones in the photos as we went through the store and at the gas pump.

As You Go, Million Dollar Bill, one on one, strategy, tract distribution
I received my order of million dollar bill tracts yesterday from onemilliontracts.com These are great to use in witnessing! I gave out 9 at the grocery store tonight. When I hand these out, Ill say “Have you got one of these yet?” or “Here’s your first million!” At a convenience store, I gave one to a man that worked at Freds and said “Tell Freds to give you a raise!”
When they are in my front pocket, I catch people looking at them. This opens up the door to tell them what it is. When checking out at stores, I ask if they have change. Then, I explain the message and ask the employee to read
It when they get a break. There are so many ways to use the million dollar bill.
My friend, Bro. J.T., called me before church Sunday night to tell me what had happened at a restaurant that evening. He had a trillion dollar bill from Living Waters in his shirt pocket. He was talking to his attorney friend when he told him that his money was sticking out. He told him that it was a tract and gave it to him. Later, his friend came back to him after he paid for his order. He told Bro. J.T. that he had the tract with his money. The woman that was taking his money asked him what it was. He told her what it was and she said that she had a dream about that tract a week ago! The attorney gave it to her!
Try using these tracts if you haven’t yet. Along with the tracts you receive every month from the tract club, they are great ice breakers and conversation starters!

As You Go, one on one
We took our children to a fishing derby in Farmerville, La. on Saturday. A man comes up to me and asked if I remembered him. I gave him a Mancard tract at Walmart in West Monroe several months ago. His name is Timothy. I was able to talk to him for about 10 minutes. Please help me pray for him.
