Day 24: Bible bookmark and New Testament

Went to lunch at Chick-fil-A. Gave a tract to the cashier. When refilling my drink, I offered a New Testnment and the bookmark in the June mailing of the Bezeugen Tract Club to one of the employees. He told me, “I don’t understand English” and walked off. Unfortunately I did not have a Spanish tract on me.

While walking to my car, I came up to someone getting out of their car. I asked if they had a Bible. They said no. So I gave them the New Testament with the bookmark,

Day 23: NASCAR Trivia

The lease on my car was up. So I was at the dealership looking for a car to replace it. After selecting the car and waiting for the paperwork, I was ouside cleaning out the old car. I walked across the parking lot and as I was walking one of the employees was coming right towards me like he needed to ask me something. I said, “are you looking for me?” He said no, but then stood there. There was kind of that awkward silence. So I asked, “do you like NASCAR?” He said he loves it. So I said, “well, then I guess you were looking for me afterall.” I pulled out a NASCAR trivia tract from the June mailing of the Bezeuegen Tract Club and handed it to him. He was excited to get it and even more thrilled to find out that it had the Gospel on the back. He thanked me for giving it to him.

I had the opportunity to share several other tracts at the dealership.

Vanessa @ Kfc

The Thank You tract is a good way to tell someone thanks for something they have done and is good to give cashiers or servers at restuarants. Vanessa took this one at KFC. I saw her read it on her break. She said that she hoped to go to Heaven by the life she was living. Please pray for her.

Using The “What Happens After #YOLO?” Tract

The “What Happens After #YOLO?” tract was in the October Tract Club mailing. The idea for this tract came from asking people if they know what YOLO means. YOLO stands for “You Only Live Once”. It came from a rap song, The Motto, that was done by a Canadian rapper by the name of Drake in 2011. A lot of people live by this motto everyday. They live wild like there is no tomorrow. I started asking some if they knew what it meant.
About everyone one I asked had the right answer. Next, I would ask “What happens after YOLO?”. Most said that we die. Next, I would ask “What happens after you die?” I got answers like the after life or you get reborn. Then, I would say that this is something to think about. This is a good opportunity to take someone through the good person test.
People aren’t thinking about eternity. Let’s use this tract and others to get them thinking about “What Happens After Yolo”!

A Tract Holder At A Laundry Mat

I’ve got several tract holders and baskets at three laundry mats and one convenience store. I went to restock at the West Monroe location a few weeks ago, but it was gone. I got another one at Office Depot on Thursday. It holds about 60 – 70 tracts . I placed it there on Saturday. The tracts get taken! Pray that no one will take the holder!

The Hoppy Easter Tract In Action

It’s only 17 more days to Easter. I have been having a great time using the Hoppy Easter tract. They can be ordered thru One Million Tracts. One Million Tracts

This tract is good to put on Easter displays and in Easter baskets. I’ve gave out some by using the Card Now app for the iPhone. Card Now I gave one by showing Zach today at Walmart. He said that he is a pagan. We had a great conversation.
Telling someone “Happy Easter” when giving this out is a plus! In the pictures is a gee places where I’ve left some.
