A friend sent this picture after leaving a tract in a cartoon of eggs. Neat thing is a customer will likely get this in the store since most people open the cartoon to check that the eggs are not broken.
March 20, 2011 tract a day, tract distribution
While shopping with my wife today I realized that the package for the individual cups of apple sauce is just the right size for a tract!
While witnessing in the west end I decided to buy a homeless person a cup of coffee. Going into McDonald’s to get the coffee was also an opportunity to hand out a number of tracts. The cashier got one. The people in line each got one. The people coming in as I left the McDonald’s each got one. Each person took the tract and said thanks!

Tracts…….the Lord brought my attention back to Him with a tract. Just doing laundry one night and there it was.
Tracts have always been a special way to reach people for me since that day 22 years ago.
Now up until May of last year all I ever did was leave tracts around, never had I actually handed a tract to someone, an actual person. Well thanks to Brendan, Carl & Mande’s son, I am now able to do that. Thank you Brendan!
Abortion mill, West End Dart Station, Maverick game, Big D New Years Eve, Cotton Bowl game and soon, the SUPERBOWL!!
So fast forward to this week. 7 months later and I am still passing out tracts when I can remember to put some in my pocket. Many times I have to turn around and go back to the car to grab some. Maybe someday soon it will be a habit to just have some in hand whenever I open my car door!
Tuesday I started out putting a tract in the envelope with my bank deposit then also leaving one in the debit card slot. I went to Walmart on the way home and handed a Good News/Bad News to a mom with a big eyed 2 yr old in the produce section, one left in the dog treat isle, one in the coffee section. Then following Carls lead I proceeded to put all but 2 of the tracts I had with me into the cases of beer, at least 10 beer drinkers will find the Bad News waiting for them, Good News is it is in there as well! The last 2 tracts I held onto for the cashier and someone that might be in line behind me. 19 tracts on Tuesday.
Wednesday, I put tracts in some postage paid envelopes that had come in some junk mail, sent them back! I also left the Valentine tract on each computer for Awana check in. Everyone loved the tract.
Today, only one tract went out in the mail. Slow day, as I did not encounter any humans. There is always tomorrow!
I wonder where my first tract will be given tomorrow?????
I look forward to getting back here to add my next tract adventure. Maybe I will share my first tract speaking encounter at the Cotton Bowl!
In Christ,
Ellen
I was driving home from visiting my mom in Oklahoma. Stopped for gas. Put a tract in the credit card slot of the gas pump.
Met my wife at Barnes and Noble. Put a couple of tracts in books. People need book marks!
While unloading stuff from my car someone parked in front of my house to go to a party at the neighbors house. (No, I was not invited). So I wished them happy new year and gave them a New Year resolution tract.

Payed to park the car for dinner because the restaurant lot was full. Gave a tract to the parking attendant who turned out to be a youth pastor. Talked to him about the tract club.
Gave a tract to the waiter with the bill.
Paid to park at the civic center. The guy taking money got a tract.
Went to Walmart after the concert. The greeter and cashier each got tracts.
Share the gospel as you go. We pray that these ideas help you!

Putting gas in the car is a good opportunity to leave some tracts for the next customers.
I got to go to the grocery store with my wife. While walking down an aisle in the frozen foods, I realized that they had put these nice tract holders right on the doors to the frozen food.
I had about a dozen tracts in my pocket when we got to the store. While I was walking around near the beer at an end cap, an employee came up to me and asked if I needed anything. I handed him our newest “Where will you be 100 years from now” tract that is coming to the Bezeugen Tract Club in February. He and I had a short conversation. He was talking about either being up there or down there, pointing up and down and talking about God. Before we got too far, another customer came and he needed to help them.
I put some tracts in the six packs of beer and the twleve backs of soda. Since I was low on tracts (wearing a different jacket then normal one which has lots in the pockets) I saved the last one for the cashier. He said I’d already given him the same tract before.
